Over several weeks, the investigation identified a small group of senior employees colluding with external contacts at rival firms. Evidence included:

  • Regular off site meetings with representatives of competitor organisations
  • Unauthorised downloads and transfers of sensitive design, pricing and strategy documents
  • Financial transactions and benefits inconsistent with declared income

The combined surveillance footage, witness accounts and digital evidence provided a clear picture of how confidential information was being removed from the business and shared externally.
